- April 17th, 2008 - Hi folks! I apologize for the lack of updates. For the past few weeks my computer has been in various stages of disassembly on the livingroom floor. I'd ordered some new parts and had everything up and ready to go for a website update last weekend... and then my brand new motherboard failed and the computer wouldn't stay up for more than 15 minutes. I now have yet another new motherboard and this one seems to be running with no problems. I will definitely have a big update for the website this weekend, with numerous new reviews, so stay tuned!

McKnight Guitars "The Diamond"
Jan 2008
Tim McKnight of McKnight Guitars built this guitar to commemorate his 25th wedding anniversary with his lovely wife Mary (who actually designed the guitar). They sent it out on the first leg of its Trip in January of 2008.
The guitar is based on the McKnight MiniMac body style. The top was crafted with Tim's double-top technique and the back uses Tim's new "Hollow Back" design. Even the sides are double-walled for extra strength (not to be confused with "laminated sides" often used on budget guitars)!
Woolson Soundcraft Double-Top Guitar
Oct 2007
In October of 2007, luthier Paul Woolson of Woolson Soundcraft took his prototype Double-Top LG guitar to the LB Jam in Conyers, Georgia. The guitar was such a hit with everyone at the Jam that Paul decided to do a Road Trip for the guitar (thus inspiring the creation of this website).
The guitar is based on the Woolson Soundcraft LG "Little Guy" body and in addition to the double-top, it also has a double-back.
